Contact lenses are designed to correct vision defects such as: myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia. There are also special contact lens designs to correct aberrometric defects caused by different ocular pathologies.
In our centre we have contact lens specialists who will take care of choosing the right lens according to the parameters of each eye, advise you on the choice of material, teach you how to use and handle the selected lens, to guarantee a comfortable, safe and long-lasting adaptation.
We fit soft contact lenses of different materials and types of replacement, rigid gas permeable lenses, scleral lenses to correct irregular corneas and high astigmatism with good results in visual quality.
We also have treatments to control the progression of myopia, for this we can use disposable soft contact lenses and orthokeratology, also known as ortho-k, is a corneal moulding technique with which we adapt contact lenses that will be used during the night, while we sleep and that we will remove when we get up, as well as correcting the prescription, there are studies* that support that they help to slow down the progression of myopia.
